PRETTYLITTLETHING was our very first international fast-fashion retailer partner. PLT is another Manchester-based, female fast-fashion retailer. The Student Marketing Company endeavours to work with local brands who represent our city, and who direct their fashion statements toward the student market. 

Our first campaign together was in September 2017, when PLT were aiming to achieve a full 360-freshers target. They initially wanted to stimulate brand awareness to their target market via an A5 flyer included inside The Student Marketing Company’s multi-university distributed welcome bags. Printed on the flyer was a ‘call-to-action’ to activate their included student discount. To back up the campaign and to coincide with student loan-drops, we geared up one of our proven nationwide poster campaigns which lasted throughout the Fresher’ period. 

PLT campaigns are always a feast to the eyes. Exemplifying inclusivity, and with an array of different-sized models who represent vibrancy and flamboyance, PLT uses both our A1 and A0 size poster frames to show this to its full effect.

Since that first campaign together in 2017 – and as PLT grew bigger and bigger – we continued to work together regularly to run further successful poster campaigns for the following Freshers’ 2018/2019 loan drops, and also for new product launches (such as collaborations and other associated drops). In November 2019, we ran a double-poster campaign for their ‘Little Mix’ drop, with two bespoke designs promoted to the UK student market. With such shared, achieved success, who knows what could be coming.

TSMC have been an incredible support to PrettyLittleThing and our student marketing strategy. Always keeping our best interests in mind and contacting us with innovative and exciting ideas. We look forward to see where this partnership takes us in the future.
